Alice and William Johnson Foundation Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Alice and William Johnson Memorial Scholarship Established in 2013, the Alice and William Johnson Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually. The scholarship was established by the Alice and William Johnson Foundation, on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, who were residents of Bealeton, located in Fauquier County, Va. The Johnson’s believed strongly in the value of education. In particular, Alice’s passion was for needy children. In keeping with their wishes, the Alice and William Johnson Foundation has established three scholarships in the amount of $1500.
The scholarship award may be applied toward tuition, fees and/or books and will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. Satisfactory academic progress must be maintained in order for the recipient to receive the award for the second semester. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the fall semester.
The scholarship will be awarded to LFCC students who meet the following criteria:
- Must complete a scholarship application
- Must be a full-time and/or part-time student at LFCC
- Must have and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must be a graduate of a Fauquier County High School
